About Port Talbot Funeral Service
Port Talbot Funeral Services is an independent Funeral Service run by Mr Malcolm Evans.
The business was set up in 2016 in Holy Cross Church.
Holy Cross Church, otherwise known as the Chapel of Ease, was built in 1827 with the permission of Margam’s Talbot family. It closed it’s doors in 2008 as a church and was left to deteriorate.
Plans were sought to change the church into a house, which included re-siting several headstones and surfacing over the graves to provide a parking area.
Malcolm with his passion and knowledge decided to save the church from decay or development and restore it to it’s former condition and turn it into a final resting place for your loved ones.
